Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 gets a Day One patch

Today, October 2, 2025, the Super Mario Galaxy `+ Super Mario Galaxy 2 collection will make its debut on Switch. You can purchase both titles physically or separately through the eShop.

Nintendo has rolled out a first patch to iron out a few issues. Version 1.2.0 of the game includes several fixes and changes to improve the gameplay experience on both Switch and Switch 2.

What’s more, more music from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 has been added to the Nintendo Music app.
