Superman’s father, Jor-El, is usually depicted as a scientist. (Sometimes he encourages his son to assemble a harem and take over the world.) But in a newly announced Elseworlds comic book series, DC is making Superman’s daddy a new version of the Man of Steel with Superman: Father of Tomorrow.
