During Summer Game Fest, the creators of Cuphead made two major announcements. Studio MDHR is currently working on two separate titles.
First, there’s a new, entirely hand-animated Cuphead game in development. Since this brand-new adventure is still in the early stages of production, we will need to be patient.
Second, there’s a game titled Mighty Cuphead Adventure also in the works. This is an 8-bit action-platformer inspired by the great classics of the 1980s. It is being developed using the technologies of that era and strictly adheres to the technical specifications of the SEGA Master System.
We’ll learn more about them in the coming months.
