Developer Shift Up revealed their next project, Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, during Summer Game Fest 2026. It’s a Stellar Blade sequel with a new protagonist called Evie, and this one will be self-published by the developer.
The original team is working on the project, which is still considered to be in early development but already looking rather good and more fast-paced compared to the first game. No release date or platforms were mentioned, but given that this is being self-published by the studio, it’s safe to assume it will launch on multiple platforms.
Stellar Blade first launched on PS5 in 2024 then on PC in June 2025. It was a big success for the Korean studio as they reportedly sold over 6.1 million copies globally.
