Steam Free Store Credit Available For Next 48 Hours

To celebrate the launch of the free playtest for one 2026 RPG, Steam is giving users the opportunity to win some free store credit.

With new game releases costing more and more each year, it is no wonder that many of us are searching for ways to cut the costs.

Luckily, this brand-new Steam giveaway will give PC gamers the chance to get their hands on a $10 Steam gift card which will go a long way towards their next big purchase.

Hosted over on the SteamGamesPC Twitter account, the giveaway celebrates the playtest launch of Fractured Worlds, a dark fantasy action RPG that is set to be released fully in Q1 2026.

Developed by Laser Guided Games, Fractured Worlds is set in the shattered remnants of a ruined reality with players tasked to master precision-based combat in order to explore diverse realms, face challenging bosses and team up with friends along the way.

“Fractured Worlds is a Dark Fantasy Action RPG set in a reality that has been broken into pieces by the ambition of its inhabitants,” the Steam synopsis reads.

“Now, guided by a mysterious voice, you must explore these broken realms, piece together the past, and confront those responsible for this cataclysmic event.”

From medieval dungeons to enchanted forests, volcanic landscapes and industrial cities, Fractured Worlds will see you explore diverse and broken realms in an attempt to explore all that was lost.

However, thanks to precision-based combat, players will be able to master two-handed maces, nimble spears and even magic wands in an attempt to find a playstyle that suits them.

Luckily, Fractured Worlds offers the opportunity to respec at any time so you can adapt your playthrough along the way.

Not only that but you will be able to meet other players throughout the world.

“Reality’s distortion means that the worlds of other players might briefly overlap with yours,” the game’s description continues.

“You can choose to interact with them, or simply continue on your own path. You can invade and assist, support and deceive, share a profitable loot pile or lure other players into a particularly deadly mob of enemies and collect the spoils once they are dealt with.”

Now to celebrate Fractured Worlds opening its first ever playtest, this Steam giveaway can be entered by liking this Twitter post, reposting, and wishlisting the upcoming RPG on the PC storefront.

You will also need to follow two Twitter accounts in order to be eligible and the giveaway ends on 5 October.

The winner will win a $10 Steam gift card and so you will lose nothing by entering!
