Steam Free Game Is A 10/10 You Won’t Want To Miss

This free Steam game on PC could be rated as a ten out of ten, which you will not want to miss.

We’ve all been there before; we’ve watched an awesome trailer for a game that we’re looking forward to. We’ve spent our hard-earned cash, only to find that this game absolutely sucks. I think it’s fair to say that it’s happened far more than it should have.

Just a couple of names that come to mind are Aliens: Colonial Marines and No Man’s Sky. In fairness to No Man’s Sky, this is a game that improved massively over the years and can now be considered as one of the best sci-fi survival games that you’ll ever play.

As for Aliens: Colonial Marines, this was supposed to be the video game adaptation that fans had waited years for. Instead, we got a bland first-person shooter with the dumbest Xenomorphs ever. Nothing about these creatures in this game even slightly resembled a “perfect organism”.

I’d even go as far as to say that Aliens: Colonial Marines was so bad that it even damaged the reputation of one of the best horror games of all time, Alien: Isolation, which was released a year later in 2014. I digress.

Thankfully, for the most part, reviews, whether they’re from critics or elsewhere, can be somewhat reliable. However, it’s still always worth remembering that any review is merely an opinion.

Speaking of which, there’s a free game on Steam right now that has been receiving a lot of praise from the community, and it’s called Yuki, developed and published by the indie team at VisualMemoryUnit.

Steam users love this game

“Yuki is a narrative horror adventure set in a remote, abandoned school where memories linger longer than the living,” reads the synopsis of the game on Steam. “Explore an abandoned school where memories linger longer than the living. Uncover the mystery of your best friend’s disappearance. Dodge bullets.”

Here’s what some Steam users had to say about Yuki, which is currently rated as “Positive”.

“This is a very unique game that’s just over an hour and a half long to play. There are some Persona and Undertale vibes mixed into it,” wrote FluxRaven “For a free game, this was pretty awesome and having multiple endings, decent puzzles, some cool horror environments and banger music really set the tone.”

“Still can’t believe this game is free,” exclaimed Clarinda. “For a free game, this was pretty awesome. Nice storyline, banger music, cute aesthetics and characters really set the tone. (I may have cried a little at the end).”

“Stunning visuals, works great on a Steam Deck,” said akaxiri.

So, what are you waiting for? Go check out Yuki already.
