Starfield Free Download Is An Epic New Starborn Quest You Can Play Now

Starfield fans can download this epic new quest today, and best of all, it’s totally free.

Starfield is one of those games where, as good as it is, it was never going to live up to the hype that was generated in the years leading up to its highly anticipated release as one of the first major exclusives on Xbox Series X/S in 2023.

However, despite lofty expectations and a rocky launch thanks to the infamous Bethesda bugs and a lack of features, Starfield is in a much better place now, a game once dubbed “Skyrim in space”.

To the credit of Bethesda, the developers have worked tirelessly to iron out as many bugs as possible and add new features, such as being able to drive land vehicles, which is a big game-changer.

Roughly a year after the launch of Starfield, Bethesda released its first expansion, Shattered Space.

In our review of Starfield: Shattered Space, we said: “The expansion excels in its cosmic horror-fuelled opening that sadly fades out into something that’s far less intense.”

Many fans were hoping that Starfield would get a second expansion, and on the second anniversary of the sci-RPG, that expansion was seemingly teased on the game’s official social media channels.

At this time, the apparent second expansion for Starfield does not have a release date or official title. However, until that expansion arrives, the ever-vibrant modding community has us covered.

One mod in particular that will help keep us busy in the meantime is called ‘From ‘The Gutter To The SkyLine,’ created by INT-DEX GAMING, and it’s free to download now via NexusMods.

“Meet Echo, a mysterious Starborn NPC who’s ready to walk away from the Starborn cosmic path she once followed,” reads the synopsis of the mod in question.

“Haunted by the mistakes of her past universe, Echo seeks redemption and a chance to rewrite her fate. But the cosmos is tricky and only plays by its own rules. In this new universe, Neon City offers both opportunity and peril, with fresh threats lurking in its core.”

The synopsis of the mod certainly paints a positive picture and could very well be worth checking out on PC. After all, it is a freebie.

Starfield is out now on PC and Xbox Series X/S. It’s also included with an Xbox Game Pass subscription at no extra cost.
