Star Wars Director Teases Possible Crossover With a Major Box Office Competitor

Shawn Levy is attached to two of the biggest genres in cinema right now, serving as the producer of A24’s recent horror hit Backrooms while also directing the upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter movie for Lucasfilm, which is set to release in 2027. While those projects occupy very different corners of pop culture, Levy recently suggested that he wouldn’t mind seeing the two worlds collide in a recent interview with Vanity Fair.
