Star Conflict: The MMO will shut down its servers on October 10, 2026, after more than 13 years of operation

Originally launched in February 2013, Star Conflict will have been around for more than 13 years before announcing its closure. The MMO, which combines space simulation with explosive action, has confirmed that it will shut down its servers.

As a result, the servers will be completely shut down on October 10, 2026. Starting May 14, registration for new accounts will be disabled. On June 1, monetization will be phased out. This summer, the game’s summer activities will be offered for free with no restrictions. The schedule will be announced at a later date.

The studio Star Gem Inc. calls it a « very difficult decision to make » and thanks players « for every battle, for the victories and defeats, for the adventures, for the friendships, and for the time spent in the game ».

It’s always bittersweet to hear about a game coming to an end, especially one as beloved as Star Conflict. Over 13 years is quite an achievement, and it’s clear the game has made a lasting impact on its community. Here’s to all the memories created over the years!

I completely agree; it’s tough to say goodbye to a game that has created so many memories. It’s interesting to think about how it paved the way for other space-themed MMOs that followed. The community that formed around it will surely be missed!
