Splinter Cell Remake Regains Director Who Left For Battlefield 6 Three Years Ago

In late 2022, Splinter Cell Remake director David Grivel announced that he was leaving Ubisoft after 11 years and going on a “new adventure.” That led him to work on Battlefield 6 for EA. Now that adventure has taken Grivel back to Ubisoft as he reclaims his old job as the director of the Splinter Cell Remake.

Grivel announced his return to the Splinter Cell Remake team on LinkedIn (via GamesRadar).

“Today, I am very, VERY happy to announce that I’m rejoining Ubisoft Toronto as Game Director on the Splinter Cell Remake!” wrote Grivel. “A very special team and project to me.”
