Splinter Cell: Deathwatch Gets Season 2 Pickup From Netflix

Earlier this week, Netflix premiered the first season of Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, an animated show based on Tom Clancy’s iconic hero Sam Fisher. Netflix and series showrunner Derek Kolstad didn’t waste much time before revealing that Splinter Cell: Deathwatch has been renewed for a second season.

Kolstad made his announcement about Deathwatch’s return during an interview with IGN. He indicated that Season 2 is already in pre-production, which suggests that the renewal of the show was already in the works before the series’ debut this week.

“Everyone is super excited about where we go next,” Kolstad said, before lightly addressing the fate of one of the characters from Season 1’s finale.
