South of Midnight (a great game, in my opinion) took to the stage at The Game Awards today to win the Games for Impact award. The winners’ speech, however, was more than just a thank you – it included an announcement about the game, too. Farah Brixi and Diane Guillemont announced that South of Midnight is coming to Switch 2 and PS5 next spring.
South of Midnight follows Hazel as she tries to rescue her mom and get a handle on her newfound magical powers as a weaver. It’s especially well-regarded for its music, as each boss fight has lyrics describing the mythical beasts Hazel faces. While it was exclusive to Xbox and PC at its launch in April, these ports will bring the game to Sony and Nintendo’s respective flagship platforms.
