Sony Remains Committed To Live-Service, But Doesn’t Mention Fairgame$

As part of Sony’s newly published Corporate Report for 2025, the company disclosed new information and updates on all of its business units, including the PlayStation division. One part of the report that stands out is Sony re-stating its commitment to live-service games despite some stumbles and issues in recent times.

In the document, Sony said the company “continues to cultivate its live services expertise,” citing games like MLB The Show, Helldivers 2, Gran Turismo, and Destiny 2 as examples.

Sony also called out one title that will be important to the company’s live-service business going forward: Bungie’s Marathon. The game was recently delayed indefinitely and has been caught up in stolen art claims. The document does not mention any other upcoming live-service games, however, including the reportedly troubled Fairgame$.
