Sony has no plans to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery

Last week, Warner Bros. announced the sale of its subsidiary Warner Bros. Discovery, which includes its TV, film, and gaming studios. Several buyers, including Netflix, Apple, and even Paramount, have already expressed interest.

However, one entertainment giant has also made it clear that it is not interested in such an acquisition. Hiroki Totoki, the current CEO of Sony, has stated that he has no intention of making an offer for Warner Bros. Discovery. For the time being, the Japanese company wants to focus on the anime sector for the North American market.
