Sony has modified its GTA VI ad by removing the PS5 disc drive

Sony and Rockstar Games have signed an agreement as part of the marketing campaign for GTA VI. Thus, the Japanese company has launched the Plays Best on PS5 ad, which focuses on the sixth installment of the franchise.

Surprisingly, the company then removed the ad without providing any explanation. A few hours later, the promotional spot made a comeback with a few changes. First, the GTA VI logo had been moved. But the most notable change concerns the PS5, which is now shown without its Blu-ray drive. We can assume that PlayStation removed the drive since the game will be sold as a code included in the physical box.

On PS5, GTA VI will feature haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The audio will be highly immersive thanks to Tempest 3D AudioTech. The console’s SSD will also deliver nearly instantaneous load times. Finally, Grand Theft Auto VI will be optimized for the PS5 Pro.
