Something for the Weekend – 20/09/25

There’s a hefty bit of DIY ahead of me this weekend, but I’ll have to try and squeeze in some gaming for some reviews of some upcoming releases. That and watching the Formula 1 from Baku means I have plenty to keep me occupied!

In the News This Week

There’s plenty of strange and facepalm-worthy news stories this week, alongside some great announcements and confirmations.

Games in Review & Featured Articles

A fresh batch of reviews naturally came out through the week, from the frigid to the racy, from the big to the small.

We also had a review of the OneOdio Focus A6 headphones, and an in progress look at Dying Light: The Beast, which will be updated with final thoughts and a score in due course.

In the land of previews, Tuffcub was fully absorbed into the near impossible VR action of Reach, while I continued my adventure into Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, and got a first hands on with Styx: Blades of Greed, with the nasty little goblin putting a crew together.

Rounding out the week, What We Played featured Borderlands 4, Frostpunk 2 and Dying Light: The Beast
