It might have been the launch of one of the PS5’s biggest exclusives yet, in the form of Ghost of Yotei, this week, but it was EA and Microsoft that stole the headlines away with the former announcing plans to be bought out by Saudi Arabia, and Xbox Game Pass getting a massive price increase. Let’s dive in and see what else has happened this week.

A ton of games passed through our reviews this week, with not one but two LEGO games!

Beyond the reviews, I went hands on with Jurassic World Evolution 3 as it brings natural dino breeding into the mix, while Dom delivered previews of Tiny Metal 2’s revamped turn-based strategy, Ball X Pit and its ball bouncing antics, and the slick and stylish upcoming roguelite Morbid Metal.

Rounding out the week, What We Played featured Super Mario Galaxy, Digimon Story Time Stranger & Hades 2.

  • TSBonyman checked in with an update of his gaming antics, having run through plenty more No Man’s Sky with the custom ship designing, a cheap copy of Atomic Heart which impressed with its style, but less so its gameplay, and the System Shock remake for some classic immersive sim action. He’s also enjoyed Steamworld Dig 2 and Steamworld Heist, which are still lovely indie games.
