The traditionally damp bank holiday weather is coming for the UK, but that won’t stop many from ill-advised barbecues… or at least it won’t stop advertisers from convincing us that everyone in the UK tries to barbecue under a brolly in the pouring rain. Whatever your dinner plans, it’s likely a better weekend for catching up on games once the clouds roll in. I plan on more runs of Saros.

Games in Review & Featured Articles
We had a bunch of interesting titles in for review this week. An excellent new Survivors-like and a retro-styled horror game top the table this time.
- TerraTech Legion – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 9/10
- Ground Zero – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 9/10
- Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth – NSW, PC – 8/10
- Adorable Adventures – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 7/10
- The Spell Brigade – PS5, PC – 7/10
- Tides of Tomorrow – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 6/10
- Aphelion – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 6/10
But this week also had a bunch of major previews. I got to go hands on with 007: First Light, and I was pleasantly surprised at how IO Interactive has remixed their classic Hitman gameplay for the different style of stealth action. A similar style of reinvention is coming to Supermassive’s horror series with Directive 8020. I also checked out Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Switch 2, which is a pleasant surprise.
Jason, meanwhile, previewed Far Far West, which brings lashings of Helldivers 2-style co-op action to the robot Western setting, and Dom enjoyed his time with The Player Who Can’t Level Up, which does actually include a lot of levelling up.
Finishing up for the week, What We Played featured Tides of Tomorrow, TerraTech Legion & Adorable Adventures.
