Some French users are getting their ROG Xbox Ally already

Even though its release is scheduled for October 16, 2025, the ROG Xbox Ally is already out there. This is particularly the case in France, where internet users have reported receiving their consoles more than two weeks early.

On Reddit, French users have shared photos of their machines, freshly delivered by Amazon. Owners describe their Xbox ROG Ally X as “very light” and comfortable, with a feel similar to an Xbox controller.

In terms of battery life, the portable console “can easily exceed three hours on resource-intensive titles”. On the ROG Xbox Ally X, the resolution is between 900 and 1080p with medium or high rendering, all at 35 or 40 FPS. Using FSR in quality mode and Frame Generation technology allows for around 70-80 FPS.
