Snag The First Six Dune Books For Over 50% Off Before Dune: Part Three Hits Theaters

Denis Villeneuve’s take on Dune has made for some of the best sci-fi movies of the decade, and Dune: Part Three is set to conclude the trilogy this December. That’s a long time from now. Reading the book series isn’t a bad way to tide yourself over–and there’s a fantastic deal to take advantage of this Prime Day. Normally priced at $108, Frank Herbert’s Dune Saga 6-book boxed Set is available for just $52, a 52% discount.

The Dune Saga 6-book boxed set contains the six original Dune books by Frank Herbert: Dune, Dune Messiah, Children of Dune, God Emperor of Dune, Heretics of Dune, and Chapterhouse: Dune. The first two Villeneuve movies adapted the first book, while 2026’s Dune: Part Three will be a film adaptation of Dune Messiah, with maybe a dash of Children of Dune.

These six books are the definitely the best of the broader Dune franchise. There are more books, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, and they’re fine, but they get really weird and in some kind of problematic ways. So most Dune fans just pretend they don’t exist. Which is probably for the best.

This is a no-frills boxed set, giving you a compact way to own and store paperback versions of the original six Dune novels. And at just $52 for six trade paperbacks–not to be mistaken for mass market paperbacks, those tiny disposable ones you find at airports– it’s a solid deal. You also still have plenty of time have to catch up on the books before Dune: Part Three hits theaters in December.
