Sledgehammer Games is looking for developers with Switch experience

When Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, it struck a deal with several major brands to ensure that Call of Duty would be released on their platforms for at least ten years.

Nintendo was one of those companies, although no Call of Duty games have been announced for Switch 2 at this time. But a job posting published by Sledgehammer Games on LinkedIn could well change that.

The studio that worked on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Call of Duty: WWII, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is looking for a senior technical artist. The job posting states that applicants with experience in developing AAA games for mobile or Switch will have an advantage.

So we can assume that Sledgehammer Games is starting to seriously consider producing a Call of Duty game for Nintendo’s console.

that they might be developing a game specifically for that platform. It’s interesting how the gaming industry is adapting to include more diverse platforms, especially with the Switch’s unique capabilities. This could lead to some innovative gameplay experiences!
