Silent Hill Townfall’s Release Date May Have Been Leaked and It’s Not That Far Away

It looks like the release date of Silent Hill: Townfall may have just leaked, and it’s a lot closer than fans would have expected.

Konami has been on a roll with new Silent Hill titles. Silent Hill f launched to critical and audience acclaim, becoming the first title in the series to receive widespread acclaim since 2009’s Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Wii (according to Metacritic). The Bloober Team remake of Silent Hill 2 has renewed interest in the long-dormant Konami horror franchise, bringing a faithful remake to the current generation of consoles and restoring the horror franchise to prominence.

Konami appears to keep its foot on the gas pedal, as a fresh leak has surfaced regarding the potential release date of Silent Hill: Townfall, and it’s not far off. Announced all the way back in 2022, Silent Hill Townfall is a collaboration between Konami and Annapurna Interactive. A cryptic announcement video from the Silent Hill Transmission presentation revealed Townfall, but since then, there has been radio silence on the project. The trailer (as revealed back in 2022) can be seen below.

Considering the immense failure of Silent Hill: Ascension (and the immense layoffs conducted at Annapurna Interactive), fans assumed Townfall wouldn’t ever be released. However, with the franchise being as healthy as ever thanks to the releases of Silent Hill 2 Remake and Silent Hill f becoming successes, another title doesn’t seem that far-fetched.

Found by Insider Gaming, Silent Hill: Townfall appeared on the Liverpool Mexico E-Shop. It seems Silent Hill: Townfall could be heading for release on March 26, 2026. The date has been reportedly added briefly to the website as a store listing, and it’s very specific for a placeholder. So, it is possible Townfall’s release could be right around the corner, according to the leak.

Silent Hill Townfall’s Release Date May Have Been Leaked and It’s Not That Far Away

It’s important to note that neither Annapurna Interactive nor Konami has made any official statements regarding Silent Hill: Townfall, and the only proof of the title’s existence is from the Transmission video until more is revealed. So fans should take leaks with a grain of salt until a formal announcement is made.
