Silent Hill 2 is out on Xbox Series X|S

Without warning and without a trailer during the Xbox Partner Preview, Silent Hill 2 has finally arrived on Microsoft consoles.

The remake, launched in 2024 on PS5 and PC, is currently available at 50% off on Xbox Series X|S as part of Black Friday. The standard edition is priced at €34.99 and the Deluxe edition at €39.99.

In a video, the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits reveals that the Xbox Series S version runs at 1080p (upscaled) at 30 frames per second. On Xbox Series X, the survival horror game benefits from a Quality mode in 2160p (upscaled from a resolution between 1512p and 1080p) at 30 FPS and a Performance mode in 2160p (upscaled from a resolution between 1080p and 846p) at 60 FPS.
