Several Japanese shoot ’em ups will be removed from Steam on October 31

Japanese publisher City Connection has announced the removal of a dozen games that were previously available via Steam. This is due to the expiration of their licensing agreements.

These titles are shoot ’em ups developed by Psikyo that were originally released in the 1990s and early 2000s. As such, the following games will no longer be available for purchase after October 31, 2025. With that being said, those who already own these titles will be able to keep them in their library after this date.

  • Strikers 1945 III
  • Gunbird
  • Gunbird 2
  • Gunbarich
  • Samurai Aces
  • Samurai Aces Episode II: Tengai
  • Samurai Aces Episode III: Sengoku Cannon
  • Sol Divide
  • Dragon Blaze
  • Zero Gunner 2
