Fans finally got their first full-on look at Insomniac and Marvel’s Wolverine game during the September State of Play, and it did not disappoint. Logan, voiced by Liam McIntyre, unleashes his iconic claws in a brutal, mature-rated preview. Designed as a standalone title, the game promises to fully embrace the darker, more violent tone of the Wolverine character, distinguishing it from other superhero adaptations. Marvel’s Wolverine releases in Fall 2026.
Insomniac says Marvel’s Wolverine is all about delivering the ultimate Wolverine power trip–and with the trailer delivering fast, fluid, and ferocious combat, the studio also promises big cinematic action moments, and a gritty story that digs deep into who Logan really is.
