In a message posted on the game’s official subreddit, we learn that EA has postponed the start of Season 2 of Battlefield 6, originally scheduled for January 21, 2026, to February 17, 2026, in order to give the devs more time to polish the content and incorporate community feedback.
To compensate for this delay, Season 1 is being extended, with new weekly challenges, a Frostfire Bonus Path, and rewards such as items and XP boosts, until the launch of Season 2.
Battlefield 6 is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
It’s always tough to hear about delays, but hopefully, this extra time will lead to an even better experience for players. Looking forward to what Season 2 has in store!
