Yet another rumor is confirmed! Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Redemption will get a native version for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and mobile starting December 2, 2025.

Players will have access to the base game and the Undead Nightmare expansion. On Sony and Microsoft consoles, the title will run at up to 4K at 60 frames per second. There’s HDR support, with improved image quality as a bonus.

On Switch 2, Red Dead Redemption will utilize DLSS, be HDR compatible, and use mouse controls, all in high definition at 60 FPS. In addition, owners of the game on PS4, Switch, and the backward compatible Xbox One digital version will be able to upgrade for free. You can use your save files to continue the game without having to start over.

Red Dead Redemption will be included in the GTA+ game library and the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogues starting December 2. Finally, on mobile devices, players with a Netflix subscription will also be able to enjoy it at no additional cost.
