Capcom announced the Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem during the latest Nintendo Direct. It will be released alongside the other consoles and PC versions on February 27, 2026.
According to Amazon UK, the survival horror game will be cheaper on Nintendo’s console. Resident Evil Requiem is listed at £59.95 on Switch 2, compared to a recommended price of £69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Capcom has not yet explained this £10 difference.
Could the Switch 2 version contain less content than the other platforms? Or is it simply a pricing policy in favor of Nintendo players decided by the Japanese publisher? It’s still far too early to tell.
