The video game industry has seen yet another deal. This time, it involves Reforged Studios, which has decided to acquire the publisher Headup Games.
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. It was simply stated that no job cuts will occur once the acquisition is finalized. Headup Games, which will release Super Meat Boy 3D later this year, will have access to Reforged Studios’ development network.
On its website, Reforged Studios states that its goal “is to acquire successful studios and provide them with the support they need to create the best games possible.” The teams help improve daily operations and foster the growth of the developers within its network. This allows the developers to focus on the creative side without having to manage everything else.
