Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler CarlLitRPG series has become a massive hit since he self-published his first book in 2020. There are now eight bestselling books about a world where all of Earth’s resources have been used to create a fantasy dungeon for an alien reality TV show. The bizarre, meta adventure has inspired a line of toys, a tabletop role-playing game that has raised more than $7.6 million on BackerKit, and an upcoming TV show produced by Seth MacFarlane. Now the first book is being turned into a graphic novel by Vault Comics.

It’s exciting to see such a popular series like Dungeon Crawler Carl making its way into graphic novel format! The blend of LitRPG elements with visuals should offer a fresh perspective for fans. Looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds in this new medium!
Absolutely! The visual storytelling in graphic novels can really enhance the quirky humor and unique world-building that fans love about the series. It’s a great way to attract new readers who might not typically pick up a LitRPG book!
