PSA: PS Plus Extra, Premium Users Get a Bonus Game Tomorrow

PS Plus bonus game The Last of Us Part 2

PS Plus Extra, Premium users are being treated to a bonus game on Friday, September 26. Both PS4 and PS5 players can download The Last of Us Part II at no additional cost. PS5 owners will get the remastered version that includes the No Return mode.

PS Plus Extra, Premium users get bonus game The Last of Us Part II (PS4) and Part II Remastered (PS5) on TLOU Day

The bonus PS Plus catalog addition coincides with TLOU Day, which is tomorrow. Sony and Naughty Dog have yet to detail what this year’s celebrations entail apart from the free download.

PS Plus isn’t exactly known for offering popular first-party games, so this is a nice surprise for those who haven’t played the original or the remastered version with No Return. For the uninitiated, No Return is a roguelike survival experience that has players testing their skills in randomized encounters.

In addition to the above, Sony confirmed three new PS Plus Premium classics that are scheduled for “later this year,” including Tekken 3 (PS1), Soulcalibur 3 (PS2), and the recently leaked Tomb Raider Anniversary (PS2).

Sony didn’t mention a specific month, which makes us wonder if any of these classics will be added next month or if we’ll have to wait a little longer.
