PS5’s Ghost of Yotei Playable Next Week, But There’s a Catch

Lucky players can get their hands on PS5 exclusive Ghost of Yotei as early as next week, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced. After shunning industry events for many years, PlayStation is making a high-profile return to the Tokyo Game Show 2025, where it’ll be bringing a playable demo of Ghost of Yotei for everyone to try.

This year’s event will run from Thursday, September 25 to Sunday, September 28. PlayStation’s booth will feature a whopping 14 titles that can players can try out. The full list of games with playable demos is as follows:

  • Ghost of Yōtei
  • MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls
  • Nioh 3
  • The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin
  • Digimon Story: Time Stranger
  • Dragon Quest I & II
  • Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
  • Resident Evil Requiem
  • Onimusha: Way of the Sword
  • Phantom Blade Zero
  • Battlefield 6
  • Meteora: A Challenge to Time and Space
  • Fishbowl
  • Lumines Arise

That’s a pretty solid list!

Sony will also be giving away free themed goodies to those who attend.

At the time of this writing, the company hasn’t confirmed whether it’ll release a demo for Ghost of Yotei on the PS Store or not, but we doubt that’ll happen. However, we do expect a PS Plus Premium trial in the near future.
