Sony has a Christmas gift for PS5 users around the globe: free three months of Apple Music if you’re a new or “qualified” returning subscriber. All you need is a PSN account and an Apple account. The freebie is available until March 18, 2026.
How to claim free 3 months of Apple Music on PS5
This offer is available in all countries where PSN and Apple Music are available. Here’s what you need to do, per Sony:
- Find the Apple Music app from your PS5 console’s search bar, or find it under “All apps” in Media home.
- Download and open the Apple Music app and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Sign in with your Apple Account or create an Apple Account if you don’t already have one.
- Enjoy up to three months of Apple Music at no extra cost.
PS5 users will then have access to over 100 million songs ad-free. You can create a gaming playlist and listen to music while gaming.
Sony doesn’t say what “qualified returning subscribers” means. We’re assuming that those whose Apple Music memberships have been expired for a while are eligible, but don’t quote us on this one. You’ll have to try it out yourself.
