As promised, PS5 players can now try highly anticipated upcoming Square Enix RPG for free a month ahead of launch. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined brings back the beloved 2000 PS1 exclusive to modern consoles, and you donât need PS Plus to play its demo.
Square Enix RPG Dragon Quest VII Reimagined free PS5 demo details
We now have complete details about Dragon Quest VII Reimaginedâs demo, which can be downloaded via the PS Store in all regions right now.
As expected, it contains the beginning of the game and ends after the Ballymolloy storyline â the first world youâll visit. Save data will carry over to the full game, and youâll be rewarded with an outfit for Maribel that you can use at launch.
Square Enix has said that the demo will cap character level and vocation proficiency, and will limit the amount of gold coins that players can own. The publisher probably doesnât want you farming anything ahead of launch.
It goes without saying that you need to keep your save data on your hard drive (or cloud saves, if you have PS Plus), and it must be tied to the account youâll be playing the full version of Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on.
After launch on February 5, head over to the âClaim Special Rewardsâ menu to get your free Maribel outfit.
