Out of nowhere, PS5 players have been surprised with a new single-player, action adventure game with BioShock vibes, and they’re loving it so far. Crisol: Theater of Idols has already garnered positive reviews on both the PS Store and Steam, and its PS5 launch trailer has us all intrigued, too.
Crisol: Theater of Idols is a PS5 adventure game that looks like an indie BioShock
Crisol: Theater of Idols is described as a horror action adventure game that’s set in a “twisted” reimagining of Spain. Players are Gabriel, a soldier who uses his blood as a weapon as he “fulfills a divine mission from the Sun God.”
“Uncover the chilling history and twisted folklore of Tormentosa, a beautiful but malevolent island,” says developer Vermila Studios. “Blood is both your lifeline and your ammunition. Wield this newfound power against terrifying enemies and solve intricate puzzles, but beware: every shot drains your life. Choose wisely — survival hinges on your ability to balance life and death.”
