PS5 Gets Free Demos for Interesting Upcoming Games

PS Store‘s free PS5 demos collection continues to trump PS Plus Premium’s game trials, with a bunch of demos added over the last few days alone. These demos let players try several intriguing upcoming games for free — no PS Plus subscription required. Here’s what’s new.

As a reminder, the previously announced Code Vein II demo is out now along with Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties demo.

In addition to the above, Izanagi Games has announced that its mystery adventure game Dark Auction will get a PS5 demo on January 28, with the game releasing the following day.

In terms of what’s available now, players can check out the following:

Hacked: The Streamer

You play as a streamer named PinkyPie, whose world turns upside down after receiving an unsettling message while streaming. Players need to “collect clues and connect the dots to make the right decisions that will protect her from disaster.” A release date for the FMV has yet to be announced.

Rubato

Rubato is an experimental 2D physics-based game with an interesting premise. It’s set in the year 12,012, with the solar system destroyed and humans disappearing. Then, “one man screws up a game of pool.” The game will release on March 20.

Bubblegum Galaxy

Bubblegum Galaxy is officially described as “a cozy narrative building game.” Players have to rebuild the galaxy, discover and design new planets, and complete various missions. The game will release on March 12.
