The PS Store has just dropped a new cozy PS5 narrative adventure game at a great price, and there’s even a launch discount on top of that. Published by Curve Digital and developed by two-person studio Patattie Games, Wax Heads is a unique game about working at a record store.
New PS5 adventure game Wax Heads is already getting positive reviews
Wax Heads is out now on the PS Store for just $14.99. PS Plus members get a 15% launch discount, bringing its price down to $12.74.
“Wax Heads is a cozy-punk narrative sim about working in a struggling record store,” an official overview reads. “Lose yourself in an emotional, uplifting narrative about community, musical mysteries, and underdog spirit. Help endearing and indecisive customers find their perfect records while debating all things music with your loveable colleagues.”
Wax Heads features a handcrafted record collection and an original soundtrack.

Wax Heads has already earned great reviews from critics and positive ratings from players. The game has an average score of 85/100 on Metacritic and 86/100 on OpenCritic. On the PS Store and Steam, it has a user rating of 4.88/5 stars and “Positive,” respectively.
