A PS Plus Extra and Premium game for October 2025 has been leaked and it’s an award-winning 2024 PS5 console exclusive. Like today’s Essential headliner Alan Wake 2, this month’s Extra headliner will be none other than acclaimed horror remake, Silent Hill 2.

This report comes from reliable Dealabs user billbil-kun, who is always spot on with their leaks. Although we ask our readers to take all leaks and rumors with a grain of salt, we’re confident we don’t need to do that here.
Silent Hill 2’s addition this month makes sense, and not just because it’s Halloween time. The Bloober Team game recently completed its PS5 exclusivity period, meaning that it’s ready to launch on the Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
To coincide with all of this, there are reports of DLC coming soon alongside a long-awaited and much-needed PS5 Pro patch. We think Silent Hill 2 will be added to PS Plus just as it becomes available on other consoles, in part to promote its DLC on the original launch platform.
Of course this is just speculation, but again, it makes sense. We’ll update our readers when we have more information.
