PS Plus Essential February 2026 monthly free games have begun rolling out, starting with Japan and Asia, where it’s Tuesday, February 3. Following a widely-criticized January offering, subscribers are being treated to a pretty decent lineup that has something for both PS5 and PS4 players.
PS Plus Essential February 2026 lineup adds four free games
This month, PS Plus subscribers can claim Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4), Subnautica: Below Zero (PS5, PS4), Ultros (PS5, PS4), and Undisputed (PS5). All are acclaimed games except Undisputed.
February’s free games will go live in the remaining regions at noon local time on the 3rd, making this your last chance to claim January’s monthly games, if you haven’t already. Last month’s lineup includes Need for Speed Unbound (PS5), Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed (PS5, PS4), and Core Keeper (PS5, PS4).
Despite stating that it’ll focus on PS5 games for PS Plus going forward, Sony has kicked off 2026 with plenty to offer PS4 players. We didn’t expect Extra and Premium tiers to pivot immediately, but we also weren’t expecting to see PS4 games in the scant monthly lineups.
That said, how long we’ll continue to get PS4 games with the Essential tier remains to be seen.
