PS Plus Drops Free PS5 Gift Worth $20 on PS Store

Free Battlefield 6 DLC on PS Store

In case you missed it, the PS Store has dropped a free gift for all PS Plus members on PS5. The Battlefield 6 “Search and Destroy” DLC pack costs $19.99 for everyone else, including players on other platforms. Those who don’t own Battlefield 6 can also claim the freebie, and they should before it disappears.

How to claim free Battlefield 6 ‘Search and Destroy’ DLC pack via the PS Store

PS5 members can claim the pack via the PS Plus tab on their console or the PS App. The DLC bundle is listed in the “Exclusive Packs” section. Here’s what it contains:

  • “Tactical Surge” NATO Support Soldier Skin
  • “Clean Kill” M/60 LMG Weapon Package
  • “Sureshot” SGX SMG Weapon Package
  • “Headhunter” Soldier Patch
  • “Right On Target” Dog Tag
  • “Volitant Survey” Parachute
  • “Hot Pursuit” Player Card Background
  • “Tristar” Weapon Charm
  • “Cardinal Direction” Vehicle Decal
  • “Caltrop” Vehicle Skin
  • “Test Fire” Weapon Sticker

The items can be used in both Battlefield 6 multiplayer and the free Redsec mode.

The PS Store listing doesn’t mention how long the DLC will be redeemable for free, but we’ve seen these offers pulled before, so it’s better to grab it now rather than later.

Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition is currently 30% off on the PS Store.
