This doesn’t really come as a surprise, as the game had disappeared from the radar several months ago. Expected to be released on Switch later this year, Professor Layton and the New World of Steam has finally been postponed.

LEVEL5 has announced that this installment will be released in 2026. No specific date has been given. In addition, a new Japanese trailer has been posted online. It shows gameplay and some dialogue.
