Given that fans were expecting (or perhaps hoping, to be more accurate) to see DS games added to Switch Online, the upcoming inclusion of Virtual Boy on 17th February 2026 is quite possibly the biggest surprise from Nintendo in recent years.
Did anyone really ask for this? Probably not. Is it pretty neat regardless? Definitely. Although the Virtual Boy’s small library of games have been widely playable through, shall we say, ‘unofficial’ means, the headset itself isn’t the easiest piece of hardware to come across these days.
