Capcom’s having quite the year, with Pragmata being the latest success after a new Monster Hunter Stories title and, of course, Resident Evil Requiem.
It’s doing very well for itself as a new IP from the studio, and has already topped a million sales in less than a week since its release. We were very impressed with what it has to offer, and even happier with the fact that it bucks a trend in AAA gaming to make itself a very attractive option indeed.
That isn’t counting the fact that Diana is cute as a button in her interactions with the world-weary Hugh, or that the combat stands out for being a solid balance between challenging and accessible. Throw in the fact that The Cradle is a very visually impressive stage for the adventure, and you’ve got a hit on your hands.
Well, it’s set to look even better than it has on the PS5 Pro with the latest update, allowing it to make use of Upgraded PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution for a boost to its visuals courtesy of the new and improved upscaling tech from Sony. We didn’t think the game needed any help, thanks to how well it utilizes the Pro’s added firepower, but it’s better than not having it.
