Pragmata Guide – All 8 Hacking Nodes And How To Get Them

Hacking is a critical aspect of Pragmata and is Diana’s primary contribution to gameplay progression, whether the target is an enemy or the environment itself. Yellow Hacking Nodes enhance this hacking process and are scattered throughout The Cradle, allowing you to collect and deploy them just like you would with weaponry.

This Pragmata guide is a listing of all eight of the yellow Hacking Nodes to be found in The Cradle and their locations by Sector and Block, as well as those that are unlocked from the various Cabin’s Stamp Club boards.

Decode

A hacking node that disrupts enemy internal systems, temporarily increasing damage dealt. Repeated use on the same enemy reduces its effectiveness. Passing through multiple nodes of the same type boosts damage further.

Multihack

A hacking node that links enemies together, opening multiple targets. OPEN time is extended, while damage to affected targets is reduced. Passing through multiple nodes of the same type extends OPEN duration.

Freeze

A hacking node that disrupts enemy actuators, temporarily stopping their movements. Repeated use on the same enemy reduces its effectiveness. Passing through multiple nodes of the same type extends its duration.

Confuse

A hacking node that disrupts enemy visual sensors, causing friendly fire. Effects on bots varies. Repeated use on the same enemy reduces its effectiveness. Passing through multiple nodes of the same type increases friendly fire damage.

Expose

A hacking node that exploits enemy weaknesses, making the next hack deal critical damage and more easily stagger the target. Passing through multiple nodes of the same type

Heat

A hacking node that makes enemies overheat more easily. While active, weapons build heat gauge faster. Repeated use on the same enemy reduces its effectiveness. Passing through multiple nodes of the same type

Drain

A hacking node that uses enemy processing power to boost Hugh’s suit efficiency, restoring a small amount of HP. Passing through multiple nodes of the same type increases recovery.

Chain

A hacking node that manipulates enemy processes, chaining the hacking matrix. Adds bonus damage based on consecutive node uses. Passing through multiple nodes of the same type strengthens its effect.
