Announced in September as part of a Nintendo Direct, Pokémon Pokopia is kind of a life sim like Animal Crossing. It is a Switch 2 exclusive that will be released in 2026.
Before that, ‘Necro’ Felipe revealed some new details about this spin-off on X. In particular, we learn that the game’s calendar and time will be based on the Switch 2’s data. This realistic feature is also used in Animal Crossing.
In addition, a day/night system and a seasonal system are planned. Finally, our island can be shared with other players who come to visit. This will be ideal for exchanging resources and items.
