Nintendo has just posted quite an in-depth preview of Pokémon Pokopia. The game will be released on Switch 2 on March 5, 2026.
This ten-minute video focuses on the concept behind this spin-off. Players will take on the role of a Ditto whose goal is to rebuild an entire environment in order to house other Pokémon. Each creature will need a habitat suited to its habits.
Our avatar will also be able to learn skills that allow it to plow the earth, clear paths, and much more. By taking on the appearance of a Lapras, this Ditto can even travel to neighboring islands.
Add to that the presence of objectives to accomplish in the form of requests, the ability to build a multitude of decorative objects, and even modify the appearance of our hero.
