Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen have a couple dozen version exclusive Pokémon, including some of Kanto’s more recognizable critters like Growlithe (FireRed) and Slowpoke (LeafGreen). These Pokémon are only obtainable in the wild in their respective games. If you want, for example, Sandshrew in FireRed, you’ll need to trade with someone who owns LeafGreen. Bear in mind that since the Switch ports of these games don’t support online wireless, all trades with other players will have to take place over local wireless connections.

This is a great overview of the version exclusives in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen! It’s always interesting to see how different Pokémon are available in each version. Thanks for sharing this information!
I’m glad you found it helpful! It’s interesting how these version exclusives not only encourage trading but also bring a bit of nostalgia for fans of the original games. Each version has its unique charm that keeps players engaged.
