PlayStation State of Play September 2025: All PS5 Announcements

Today was a great day for PlayStation fans, as Sony made several announcements for players to look forward to for the rest of 2025 and beyond during the September 2025 PlayStation State of Play. While some of these games were previously announced, there were plenty of new reveals to get PS5 players excited.

Below are all the PS5 games announced during the September 2025 PlayStation State of Play, as well as brief descriptions for each game.

Saros

Synopsis: “Arjun Devraj (Rahul Kohli), a Soltari enforcer, fights to survive on the lost colony of Carcosa under an ominous eclipse. Shape shifting biomes and hostile ruins set the stage for a fast-paced, cinematic action experience where every encounter demands precision and adaptability.”

Synopsis: “Zero Parades – For Dead Spies is a narrative-first espionage RPG steeped in paranoia, surrealism, and a struggle for redemption. You play as Hershel, a brilliant yet unfortunate operant in a world where trust is scarce, betrayal is just around every corner, and failure is inevitable.”

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Synopsis: “Pursue your aviation career with dynamically-generated missions, compete against other pilots, and explore the most detailed digital twin of the world to date. Set out on your global adventure with our largest fleet of aircraft as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 takes simulation to new heights of authenticity and realism. The Sky is Calling.”

Battlefield 6

Synopsis: “Campaign returns on a global scale. Step into Dagger 13, an elite squad of Marine Raiders, determined to stop Pax Armata in Battlefield 6’s single-player campaign. Storm the beaches of Gibraltar, take to the streets of Brooklyn for intense gunfights, perform a HALO jump into enemy territory, destruction, scale, and tight squad play shape every choice.”

Deus Ex Remastered

Synopsis: “The year is 2052. Societies are teetering on collapse, plagues spread unchecked, and shadow governments shape the future. You are JC Denton—a nano-augmented UNATCO operative tasked with protecting order. But the deeper you dig, the more lies you uncover. What begins as a mission becomes a fracture point in human history.”

Halloween: The Game

Synopsis: “Become the Boogeyman or save the citizens of Haddonfield when Halloween launches on PlayStation 5 on September 8, 2026.”

Last Epoch

Synopsis: “Uncover the Past, Reforge the Future. Ascend into one of 15 mastery classes and explore dangerous dungeons, hunt epic loot, craft legendary weapons, and wield the power of over a hundred transformative skill trees. Last Epoch is being developed by a team of passionate Action RPG enthusiasts.”

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Synopsis: “Play as Tristan, uncover a brand-new story, and team up (or go solo) in a vibrant multiverse full of real-time combat, hidden secrets, and familiar faces.”

Nioh 3

Synopsis: “Embark as Tokugawa Takechiyo, the protagonist forced from the shogunate throne, as he confronts his rebellious brother Tokugawa Kunimatsu in a battle that transcends time.”

Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered

Synopsis: “‘DYNASTY WARRIORS 3’ and ‘DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends,’ which established the foundation of the entire series, brought back in striking modern detail. Aim for the peak of 1 vs. 1,000 action in this even more thrilling revival.

Code Vein 2

Synopsis: “Select your arsenal from a trove of weapons and abilities and join with all new partners on a mission to rewrite the very history of your world in CODE VEIN II.”

Let It Die Inferno

Synopsis: “Humanity had just recovered from the unprecedented cataclysm known as ‘Earth Rage,’ when suddenly, a massive chasm appeared—large enough to swallow an entire city whole.​ Someone began calling the hole “Hell Gate,” and lying at its depths is the ‘Eye of the Reaper,’ a powerful crystal containing the energy to rule the world. Chronoscript: The Endless End

Synopsis: A thousand year long story that refuses to end. As the ‘Editor’ trapped within it’s manuscripts, unravel the mystery and guide the “endless story” to its finality in this exploration action-adventure game.

Crimson Desert

Synopsis: “A devastating ambush in the deep of night by their sworn enemies the Black Bears leaves members of the Greymanes dead or scattered across the continent. The Greymane Kliff is determined to reunite with his surviving comrades and rebuild what was lost. But on a journey where alliances are forged, dangers abound, and mysterious factions are uncovered, Kliff comes to realize that an unprecedented threat and a destiny greater than he imagined await him.”

Marvel’s Wolverine

Synopsis: “Become a living weapon. As he searches for answers about his past, Wolverine will do whatever it takes – unleashing brutal claw combat, violent rage, and relentless determination – to cut through the mystery of the man he used to be.”
