PlayStation raises prices across Southeast Asia

Sony is kicking off the week with some very unwelcome news for gamers in Southeast Asia. The Japanese company has decided to raise prices for the PS5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal in several regions.

This affects Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. The new prices will take effect on May 1, 2026.

Singapore

  • PS5: 849 SGD
  • PS5 Digital Edition: 764 SGD
  • PS5 Pro: 1,167 SGD
  • PlayStation Portal: 347 SGD

Malaysia

  • PS5: 2,799 MYR
  • PS5 Digital Edition: 2,499 MYR
  • PS5 Pro: 3,999 MYR
  • PlayStation Portal: 1,099 MYR

Thailand

  • PS5: 20,990 THB
  • PS5 Digital Edition: 18,790 THB
  • PS5 Pro: 30,990 THB
  • PlayStation Portal: 8,380 THB

Indonesia

  • PS5: 11,399,000 IDR
