PlayStation presents a book celebrating its 30th anniversary… priced at €115

At PlayStation, almost everything now comes with an extremely prohibitive price tag. The Japanese manufacturer’s latest offering in this area is a large-format photo book chronicling its 30-year history.

This magnificent 400-page work titled PlayStation: The First 30 Years contains previously unpublished photos of prototypes, sketches, concepts, and model designs. The brand’s consoles and controllers are given pride of place.

Expected in spring 2026, the book is available for pre-order. Unfortunately, it will set you back no less than €115. The Deluxe edition, printed in 1,994 copies (the year the PlayStation was released), costs €290… And it simply comes with an exclusive hardcover.
